Brazos River Charter School offers a unique flexible school schedule. For students who are early birds, our morning schedule is from 8 AM - 12 PM. Those scholars who work better in the afternoon can attend from 12 PM - 4 PM.

No. Brazos River Charter School is a free public charter school. However, Brazos River Charter School does not receive the same amount of state and local funding as a school district. Therefore, donations are welcome and are 100% tax-deductible.
Yes. A diploma is earned from Brazos River Charter School upon completion of all appropriate credits and carries the same weight as any Texas school district diploma.
Charter schools receive state funds based on the average daily attendance of students (same as traditional public schools). However, they do not receive funds from local tax revenue and the majority, including Texas charters, do not receive state facilities funding. A recent independent analysis of revenue differences between charter school districts and independent school districts reveals a persistent funding gap exists.
